Hope you all enjoy some picts from my recent trip to Namibia. All the animals were taken with a kimber 8400 in 325wsm with my handloads using 200grn Accubonds except for the Jackal and Steinbok which were taken with my .308 and 165grn Accubonds.
Congratulations on your successful safari. The animals you took are beautiful trophies and the memories you made will last forever. The recovered AB's look great!
Thanks for sharing your hunt with us.
Well done! The place I went was so flat and brushy that I couldn't get a shot over 150 yards it seemed. That looks like a fine display of shooting skill.
Wow, Muleman, those are awesome pictures. Very well taken. You look like you had the hunt of a lifetime. The recovered bullets look excellent, I don't think they could have done any better. Congratulations. Wow, that is some great shooting. Now I need to get to Africa! That looks like alot of fun. Scotty
There is nothing wrong with the performance of those AccuBonds. That 325 WSM is a skookum cartridge, for certain. I love mine, though I am shooting 200 grain Partitions. I know it does a "bang up" job on moose and elk!
Seems like the Accubonds really look alot like recovered PT's in alot of respects. I really like that 325WSM. Think it is a great cartridge, and really bridges the gap between the big .30's and the .338's. Alot of great power and pretty good trajectory. Scotty
The 325wsm is awsome and since I started loading the AccuBond it has never failed to anchor an an animal. I use the B&C reticle in a VX-3 and I can place my shots exactly if I have time to range the target. I'm very comfortable shooting out to 450-500yds if I have a solid rest.
Thanks for the compliments!
I was searching the forum for 325 loads.... and stumbled upon a feller who owns the exact same two kimbers that I own!
I had to stop in and say HI !!!!
Great animals!!!!! looks as if I need to give the AB a try!!!
