Picts from my trip to Namibia

Hope you all enjoy some picts from my recent trip to Namibia. All the animals were taken with a kimber 8400 in 325wsm with my handloads using 200grn Accubonds except for the Jackal and Steinbok which were taken with my .308 and 165grn Accubonds.

Red Hartebeest

Hartebeest bullets
.323 200grn AccuBond 100 and 40 yds found under skin on off side. 143.0 and 105.6 grns retained

Gemsbok

Kudu
1st shot in the shoulder- 2nd in the neck/spine at 330 yds. Uphill at 40 degrees

Kudu bullets
.323 200grn AccuBond 330yds found under skin on offside 138.2 and144.6 grns retained

Black Wildebeest
1 shot quartering through the shoulder and lungs at 250yds- DRT

Black wildebeest bullet
.323 200grn. AccuBond 250yds found under skin on off side after quartering shot through shoulder - 132.4grns retained

Burchell's Zebra
1 shot through the lungs at 200yds - went 75yds.

steinbok
40yds with my .308

Springbok
1 shot through the neck/spine at 275 yds.DRT

Blue Wildebeest
1 shot through the shoulders -DRT- at 350 yds

Man, you had a great hunt! Congratulations. The performance of the ABs was great. It is neat to see the pictures.

Well done! The place I went was so flat and brushy that I couldn't get a shot over 150 yards it seemed. That looks like a fine display of shooting skill.

Wow, Muleman, those are awesome pictures. Very well taken. You look like you had the hunt of a lifetime. The recovered bullets look excellent, I don't think they could have done any better. There is nothing wrong with the performance of those AccuBonds. That 325 WSM is a skookum cartridge, for certain. I love mine, though I am shooting 200 grain Partitions. I know it does a "bang up" job on moose and elk!

Seems like the Accubonds really look alot like recovered PT's in alot of respects. I really like that 325WSM. Think it is a great cartridge, and really bridges the gap between the big .30's and the .338's. Alot of great power and pretty good trajectory. Scotty

The 325wsm is awsome and since I started loading the AccuBond it has never failed to anchor an an animal. I use the B&C reticle in a VX-3 and I can place my shots exactly if I have time to range the target. I'm very comfortable shooting out to 450-500yds if I have a solid rest.
