My buddy has a PMR 30 in 22 rimfire Mag. He had an issue before where after firing a round the whole gun just locked up. He sent it to Keltec and got it back a week later with no explanation as to why and what happened.
This Saturday we were shooting together and he began shooting it again. This time a case blew up in the chamber. My theory is that is fired out of battery (OOB).
I took it home removed the case and cleaned it up. The case head had completely separated.
I did search the web and I see quite a few PMR-30's with similar issues, some way more serious like the gun blowing up.
Has anyone heard of this personally? Can this issue be fixed? He will send the gun back again. He's afraid to fire it again.
