Hi POP,

Hoping you will help me out. What is the the Quickload Max for a .300 WSM + IMR4831 + 180 g TTSX combination.

Using data from various sources (but none for Barnes Bullets), I was going to use 67.6 grains as my Max.

However, I am somewhat uncomfortable, as the IMR4831 Data that I have checked is so varied for 180 grainers - they range of 66.3 grains to 70 grains for the max load depending on the bullet and the source of data. While I have read that such ranges/variations our common, this is the first time I have seen it.

Thanks in advance.

Sithlord,

Bear in mind that the velocity projected is still 2900 + fps, which is pretty potent for Ontario moose.

With the 180's H4350 @ 62.7 has worked very well along with w760 at 68.0. I use WLRM primers in WW brass. Really like the 300 WSM along with the 7mm WSM.
