I have an older Leupold Vari X III, 3.5-10x40 with AO, gloss, duplex reticle, and a stoney point elevation knob. The scope is not in great condition but not poor either, normal hunting use. Glass is good, functions great, stoney point knob is accurate.
I would like to see if someone maybe has an older nikon buckmaster in a 14-18x that would like to trade straight across, maybe something else?
I have this scope on my 223 and 10x just is not enough power for shooting small targets...I have 20x leupolds on my 25/06 and 7 RM and I'm shooting animals 5-10x the size, so you see what I"m dealing with here lol. I need more power for the 223, and I"M NOT switching my 20x leupolds to the 223...
Scope would be perfect for a sporter weight hunting rifle or back up rifle, etc. With the stoney point knob you can hold dead on out to 600-700 yards quite easily with practice.
