A couple of weeks ago I had prepared a batch of cartridges for bullet seating depth tests. They were all loaded except for seating the bullets. My plan was to adjust the seating depths depending on the results I was getting. My early results were so good that I didn't need all of the prepared cartridges for that shooting session. The balance of the cartridges (without bullets) set (covered to keep dust out) for a week or two (high humidity) before I finished loading them. When I did finally shoot them, the bullets did not group well. Very different from previous shooting sessions with the same recipe.
Since the bullets were not seated in the cartridges in a timely manner, did the powder (or primers) in any way deteriorate or change due to exposure to the home environment? Other loads shot that day performed as expected.
