A couple days ago I was asked by a guy that owns a sporting goods store to put togather a powder order for him because he doesn't reload. I have most of the common Win 296, 748, 760, Hodgdon's, IMR's and Vihtavouri N110, 130,133, 140, 150, 160, 165, n560 etc. to choose from. Now I was asked to order 150 lbs., problem is I get to about 210lbs if I order most of the common IMR & Hodgdon stuff, and oly N140, 160 & 165. And that is only rifle powders with 10lbs of win 296 for pistol powder and nothing really for selection for 223-222 size small cases. 3031 being the fastest imr and h335 or h380 being the fastest Hodgdon powder.

Which powders do you think a guy can't live without, especially in Canada where stuff like Vihtavouri is really quite scarce?

You might also consider Alliant powders, RL15, RL19, RL22 and RL25.

I looked all over the list, but all I've got to choose from are the Win, IMR, Hodgdon & Vhitavouri powders. Some Reloader and AA powder would've really complicated choosing add in some Ramshot and I would end up having to tell this guy to get somebody else to choose powders....
