I am new to the forum.I have a little reloading experience but little technical knowledge.I want to try to find one powder to use for 270wsm and 325wsm. Any advice would be appreciated. Plan to use AccuBond for both also. Thank you

mblove,

Welcome to the forum, glad to have you here.

There are several powders that can be used. What bullet weights are you wanting to load?

mblove,

Welcome to the forum. I'm certain you will enjoy this place.

Using 200 grain ABs in the 325 WSM and 140 grain ABs in the 270 WSM, consider using A3100, IMR 4350 or RL19.

First of all, Welcome aboard!

I don't know the definitive answer to your question as I don't load for either round.
I will say I have read some good reports of other folks using Alliant R17 in the WSM rounds.Seems Alliant designed this powder for use in the WSMs and it works well in some old standards like 257 Roberts as well.

Hang out with us for awhile, several of the fellas who are here know the answer to your question.

Welcome buddy.

For the 270 WSM this was my best load

270 WSM 140 NAB 65/RL22 WIN case 215M * 3150 fps

for the 325 WSM I have these two

325 WSM 150 HORNADY SP 65/H4895 WIN case WLRM 3350 fps
325 WSM 200 NP 65/IMR4350 WIN case WLRM 2910 fps

Anytime. Please start about 10% below just to be safe.

The 325 wsm belongs to my 15 year old boy. He said he wanted an antelope load and an elk load. The 150 hornady at 3350 is flat!

He used the 200 NP to take a nice Texas hog not too long ago.

I took a nice bull elk in New Mexico in 2007 with Winchester supreme 200 ab. I shot him in his bed at about 80 yards. The first shot went through both shoulders and he couldnt get up but I shot him again. recovered one bullet right under the skin on far shoulder and it looked great.
