I have a can of H-4831... Was wondering if it is comarable to IMR-4831???

NO, different powders with different burn rates. The load data for these powders is not interchangable.

H4831 is slower. IMR 4831 is similar to RL 19.

Hey Savage, I'm guessing you purchased the H 4831 for your Rem 30-06 Semi-auto. If you are concerned about it being to slow for your Rem, give Hodgdon a call. Go straight to the horses mouth, so to speak. They should be able to set your mind at ease, I think.
