So I picked this up on a trade with a friend who couldn't stand not owning my 7RM Sendero. It's a cool rifle, and shoots 70 grain NBTs into nice little clusters..... but it just ain't my style. You know, the whole blued/wood/CRF thing. I know, I know.... sacrilege.

Point is... I figured one of you Winny guys might like it.... and wanna trade sumpthin' for it. Was built in '59 based on the Ser. #. It has been hunted, and shows some wear. There is no rust, but some blueing is rubbed, and the stock had a recoil pad added at some point. It wears a Leupold Vari-X IIc 3-9x40 with standard Duplex in Burris rings and Weaver bases. Would be a great rifle for a classy (unlike myself, apparently) youngster to get started with. Or a good gun coyote/'lope gun for a guy who doesn't want to beat up his Super Grade.

I didn't put this in the classifieds.... because I think I'm gonna take it out calling later in the week. Heck, might as well have at least one picture of myself, a dead critter, and a 'Real Rifle'....

Looks quite handsome. Were I below the 49th Parallel, I'd be PMing you to hold it. Could be a fun rifle for someone.

We're you below the 49th parallel you'd be hating the blacktail hunting and steelhead fishing too....

Side note: Which weighs more? A ton of Feathers, or a M70 Featherweight....

Trick Question.....

They both weigh the same.....

Feathers must have been much heavier in 1959, this thing is a chunk.

Did plenty of blacktail hunting and steelhead fishing in the Lower Mainland for 18 years. I do miss the steelheading. I've fished some of the rivers in Oregon in the past--scored big on the Santiam one day.

PM me... binocs, spotter, rifles in 6.5mm, beautiful women (with suppressor preferably).... etc....

I'm not sure what you want to trade, but I have some things I'd probably trade. Got a Model 700 243 ADL Youth. Great little shooter, not sure what else I'd have you might be interested in though.

A Rem. 700 .243 youth would interest me greatly. A buddy has one... it's a sweet coyote rifle.

I was thinking of you Scotty.... when I threw this post up. You should have this rifle, let's work it out.

Here it is.... shorter than the coyote...

It's my sons. Asking my son if he'd like to trade it. Pretty sure he would though. It's got a M8 4x Leupold. Hit me up.
