One more question, do you reloaders recommend cutting primer pockets?
If I should also on new brass? every reload? or does it really need to be done at all , just clean then up? I did debur flash holes..
Thanks for any help!!

cooz,

I just do it once to square up the primer pocket.
After that, I use a RCBS wire brush tool to clean the primer pockets.

You'll only need to uniform the primer pockets once. As for if it helps it really depends on how your rifle. I have a PSS that really gains very little from primer pocket uniforming unless I shoot over 500yds. But flash hole deburring seems to help on my rifles. Try it out on your rifles, you might just get a great load.

I do not cut the primer pockets. I debur them on the inside so the flame from the primer comes thru the hole evenly. You only have to do it once then it is done for the life of the brass. I have not had a problem yet so I do not know if it really helps or not.
