PRIMER QUESTION

I am loading some 270WSM and just found out i have thousands of primers but the only thing i have close to a large rifle magnum primer is WIN WLR and FEDERAL GOLD MEDAL MATCH (GM210M). Will either of these work :?: Is the GM210M the same as a magnum primer :?:

No the GM210M is not a magnum primer,thats the GM215M.Myself I would get some magnum primers.

Yes you can use "Large Rifle" primers, but IMO magnum primers may be best for the 270WSM. Only way to tell is to develope a load using the 210M or WLR primers.My motto is accuracy first, velocity is a benefit.

It all depends on what powder you are using.
If you are using a ball powder, you may need a magnum primer, but if you using a older style stick powder, H4831, H4350 ect, you should be fine with you existing primers.

I only use WLRs in my 300WSM with IMR-4831, got better accuracy than mag primers.Rick.
