I am reloading a 243win. I have noticed in the Speer Reloading manuel they reference CCI Magnum Primers used for a various powders for the 243win. Are performance or pressures any difference using CCI standard rifle primers versus CCI magnum rifle primers?

Yes they are. I always use IMR 7828 and Fed 215 mags for the 95+ grain bullets.
