I'd be grateful if I could get a QL report on these 3 rounds, thanks, Fred
Winchester 300 Win Mag.
Browning A Bolt, 26” barrel
200 grain Nosler Partition
71 grains IMR 4831, WLR Standard/Magnum primers
RP Cases, 3.372” case with bullet OAL
91 grains case water capacity
180 Nosler Partition
73 grains IMR 4831, WLR Standard/Magnum primers
RP Case length unknown, assume 3.340” OAL with bullet
91 grains case water capacity
150 Sierra Pro Hunter Spitzer
74 grains UMR 4831, WLR Standard/Magnum primers
3.352” OAL case with bullet
91 grains case water capacity
SD: .225, BC .409
When originally used back in the early 90's with a Chrony I bought at the time, my velocities which appear a bit optimistic are :
200 grain Nosler = 3000 fps
180 grain Nosler = 3200 fps
150 grain Sierra = 3345 fps
I DO NOT RECOMMEND that anyone use these loads as THEY MAY NOT BE SAFE IN YOUR RIFLE. Approach maximum loads with caution.
