My old arthritic shoulder has made me drop down to softer shooting rounds. I can shoot my '06 because it has a soft recoil pad and a muzzlebrake. But I also broke down and bought (expensive, for me!) a custom Mauser 98 with a Bansner stock/Decelerator pad and a 24" barrel (I dont know anything about it, twist or nothing) and I want to shoot the 145 LRX. I would like to see what loads can get me to 63-64K? I'm using Peterson brass and Fed 215M primers. Any help appreciated!

Hey Preach, no need to justify shooting the 7mm08, it is an amazing round. I reckon you are going to love it. I can get the 140ttsx to close of 2,900fps. Good luck with the LRX, I will be interested to see what QL comes back with.

Hey Dr Mike, might need to look at the cartridge, that last lot is for the 7mmRM. Tad more capacity than the 7mm08
