I have a 243 and have been using h 4350 for a period of years and it seems noslers manual is lower than Hodgons on this powder? So wanted to check what QL has for numbers.

Using H 4350, 95 Nolser bal tip, WLR primer and Honrady brass. OAL is 2.640

Thank you!

You didn't mention barrel length so I set it at 22

Thanks my barrel is 24" but ok I can at least see that my load of 40.8 grains well within the range along with Hodgdon's numbers. Nosler is very low in the new Nosler 8 they list a max of less than 40 grains?

Never had pressure issues running 40.8 just seemed strange to me?

Thank you very much appreciate it.

You're welcome!
Just remember though, QL is just a guess. Case capacity, burn rate, etc all vary somewhat.
If you'd like it closer, measure a case capacity or three and get five to ten chrono readings with the same batch powder. Then we can dial it in for you.

My Savage shoots groups like that with 43gr of H4350, produced 3 100 fps in a 26" tube. I've gone to 44gr with no problems. Mollied bullets though.
