If I accept the SAAMI limit of 51K psi, A2495 gives this value:

Code:
Cartridge : 7 x 57 mm Mauser (SAAMI)
Bullet : .284, 120, Hammer HH
Useable Case Capaci: 54.234 grain H2O = 3.521 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 3.071 inch = 78.00 mm
Barrel Length : 25.0 inch = 635.0 mm
Powder : Accurate 2495

Predicted data by increasing and decreasing the given charge,
incremented in steps of 1.0% of nominal charge.

Knowing you tend to maximize pressures, I've provided the powder projections with a maximum chamber pressure of 64,000 psi.

Code:
Cartridge : 7 x 57 mm Mauser (SAAMI)
Bullet : .284, 120, Hammer HH
Useable Case Capaci: 54.234 grain H2O = 3.521 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 3.071 inch = 78.00 mm
Barrel Length : 25.0 inch = 635.0 mm

Predicted Data for Indicated Charges of the Following Powders.
Matching Maximum Pressure: 64000 psi, or 441 MPa
or a maximum loading ratio or filling of 110 %
These calculations refer to your specified settings in QuickLOAD 'Cartridge Dimensions' window.
C A U T I O N : any load listed can result in a powder charge that falls below minimum suggested
loads or exceeds maximum suggested loads as presented in current handloading manuals. Understand
that all of the listed powders can be unsuitable for the given combination of cartridge, bullet
and gun. Actual load order can vary, depending upon lot-to-lot powder and component variations.

You "know me like a book Doc!" lol I may not get all the way to the top pressure listed, but I can get a whole closer than a stinking 51 psi/cup/whatever! ha/ Thank you, I am thinking that my 25" 7x57 will give me a "stretched string" with this weight out to 350 or so. Last 120's I shot at 3200 was the Nosler BT out of a 24" 6.5x284 Win, pre SAAMI days. It was a sudden killer of deer/antelope! Just couldn't get it to feed right, so...."ain't nobidy gots time fo dat"! :)

I plan on using the Hornady 120 VMax for a practice load, plinker and coyotes.
