A word of caution about RL26 that Scotty alerted me to. You may hit max before you get to QL or Alliant's max charge weight. I did in both my 270wsm and 25-06. That said I was able to get excellent accuracy and their velocity at a lower charge weight before I saw pressure signs.

Reloder 26 sure looks impressive in the .270. I bought a couple of pounds last year but haven't had a chance to work with it yet. I also have 140 Accubonds I've had for several years that I haven't tried yet. Maybe its time to get off high center here. I could be happy with a 140 gr going 3000 fps.

the number 4 node on a 22" barrel, like my featherweight, is 1.127 which equals 2980 fps and 54 k pressure with the 140 grain bullet. If that would shoot real small, I'd be ok with it.
