R&P brass 22-250Rem

I’m working on song dog loads.

Much to my dismay, I only had about 20 pieces of 22-250REM brass.

Went to the LGS(very small store run by a grumpy old guy who goes by Joe Gun - if I wear a mask into the store, he calls me a sheepeole. I digress.

I bought 100 new pieces of Remington brass. All he had was 100 pieces. The bag didn’t say sized, trimmed and prepped, but this is what I found.

All the brass was trimmed to 1.903 or 1.904. Probably 95% was the 1.903.

I checked the flash holes... they were all good.

I’m used to having to size, work the flash holes, and trimming.

I was pleased. I didn’t expect I’d get a nice quality brass from Remington. Granted, who knows maybe it sat on the shelf a while...

Better yet, he’s got powder and primers coming in on Friday...

Good for you! Please keep them grumpy old guys in business! Some of are a wealth of real info and shooting knowledge. They just get cranky from guys like me walking in and thinking they can afford a pre 64 in 250-3000 Savage. I know because "Howard" told me so, 25 years ago. "...yes, I have one.. and you cant afford it...its part of my retirement plan!". Dumb me, I got ticked at him, I should have asked what he DID have that I could afford. Probably would have been a pretty good rifle too... Besides, @$$ pro shops has enough money... CL
