YUP! Even a blind squirrel.......

Fotis,
Poor starling, it had to be instant feathers. 8) The 06 is smoking hot and the 8 mag is looking mighty fine too. As always, good shooting.

Nice shooting all around Fotis. What powder in the 8mm? RL-25? Mine seems to a love affair with RL-22 in the 200 and 220 range

Bill

200 H4831
220 RL25
did not try RL 22

RL-25 is supposed to be the choice for the 220 but was slow in my gun.

220 gr Sierra
RL 19 powder start 71.2 grs @ 2600 fps max 80 grs @ 2950 fps
RL 22 powder start 71.3 grs @ 2600 fps max 80.9 grs @ 3000 fps
RL 25 powder start 76.2 grs @ 2600 fps max 87 grs @ 3000 fps

Pretty good start to the day. Starlings have it coming.

Fotis,

Nice shooting.
Congratulations on the first kill with the 6mm 90 gr AB,

Looks like the 8mm Rem Mag is right in there too.

Those are some really good groups, looks like load development is complete :)

Sounds good to me, I would think that those groups and speeds would meet your needs.!

Man, that 90 AB sounds pretty good at 3200. Now I am getting a little excited to try them in the boys 243. Should be a stinger of a deer load.

Those 220 loads for your 8RM sound really good Fotis. 2900 with that 220 should be a truck. Very nice. Glad that old Remington is getting it done.

Hard to say much else about the 06, proven load and proven rifle too!

I never thought I would say this but the 30-06 and I are becoming close!

The 30-06 is still a great cartridge, Fotis, if somewhat pedestrian. It does get the job done.

Man, how old are you Fotis? Scares me when you say things like that.

Born 4/4/65

PHEW, I still have 12 more years till I have to worry about being common sense oriented going off your standard!

Well, then there is Mike, he is close to the dinosaurs in age and still hasn't grown much!!! HAHA..

Close to the dinosaurs! I killed off the last of them. They were pests in any case.
