Yes, W760 is interesting. Not sure if I would rather play more with H4350 or it.

The largest group was 1.5" and smallest was .328"
Primers are Fed 210 and I seated to 3.330 for the Nosler BT and 3.310" for PT.

I have 2 T3's and they are super easy to reload for. Maybe I just got lucky but the first bullet/powder combo I tried shot under 1/2" in my 308. My 30-06 easily shot 150 gr sierra to 3/4" in two powders first trip out, and then shot 165 gr sierras to .34". Not bad for a $369 gun I rescued from the used gun rack.
Thanks for posting these as the next bullet powder combo I wanted to try is Nos 180 BT and H414, which is very similar if not the same as the w760 I've read. The data seems to be the same also. Anyway, your results have encouraged me to try it in mine.

You know, from what I've seen of my SILs and my other friend's Tikkas ( both factory, right out of the box) and other's reports, the Tikka seems to run right with the Savage 110 series as being accurate out of the box. I do admit, the tikkas are much prettier to look at, ha.
Well, one frequent complaint about them is that the mag clips are typically only long enough for SAMMI max OAL. However, if I'm getting 1/2" or less three shot groups with that, I'm ecstatic. I just load to the length listed on n the Nosler or Sierra book anytime I'm loading a high BC bullet. Iknow the SAMMI max length won't come close to the lands and cause any pressure problems with those.
More traditional shaped bullets, I will test OAL. but the length listed in the book is usually right on anyway. It's a real time saver, but I'm not competing against anyone but me and seldom get a shot at deer more than 100 yds in northern MN. I will replace the recoil lugs in both guns I own. The one on my 30-06 does show some deformation. They should've used steel on those.

Nice looking groups. Hard to beat a 30-06!! The Tikkas are very stellar too it seems! H4350 or IMR4350 are both hard to beat. Are you chronographing those as I'd like to see what FPS you are getting with the different loads??? Is that a 24" barrel on your Tikka?

Boomer did you get a chance to clock any of those loads to see what the various speeds are? Those are some straight shooters, any one of those loads would do the job.

I ran the 51.5gr W760 load over the chrono, and it averaged 2576fps. Kinda low, so I plan on moving back to H4350 and try some different bullets. It chrono'ed 2800fps with 55.5grs.

Boomer hard to go wrong with a Tikka as I find anything made by Sako has good quality & shoots well.
Just wondering how these last 180gr worked for you using IMR4350. My cousin is working on a load for his new -06 and was thinking of IMR4350 and the 180 AccuBond.
