So, Finally got some bullets loaded and out to the range. I shot 2 of my rifles. A Weatherby Vanguard Series 2 Back Country .270 Win. I recently purchased and a Remington 700 in 22-250 I have had for a few years.

I shot the 64 Gr. BSB for the 1st time today. Came in just over an inch in my "best" group. Had a pretty strong wind going but could not wait 1 more day. I think I can tighten this group up.

Next was my 50 gr. Vmax load.

Then my 150 gr. Nosler BT in the 270. They really seemed to like the 57 gr of H4831. The group opened up over that. Shot pretty well at 56.5 also.

Overall I am pretty happy with todays results. Thought you all might enjoy seeing them.

Nice shooting!

Nosler BTs are fine bullets, and your 270 seems to agree. Like the old saying goes: "If it won't shoot BTs, you've got problems that bullet choice won't solve." BT

Respectable groups, especially with the 270. That load with 57.0 grains of H4831 looks like meat in the freezer.

That 150gr in the 270 looks like it might have a whole bunch of potential  .
Thank you for sharing.

Blessings,
Dan

Very nice work with that 270! That's a killer combo right there!

I'm betting the 22-250 will tighten up with a little tweaking too. Nice!

Thanks, i cant wait to try some 150 AccuBond LR bullets. Should be great in this rifle. I will keep tweaking those 22-250 loads too. They will tighten up im sure.
