Range day 7 mm STW

Bill that is great shooting. With a 7mmSTW and groups like those I can't see much being safe for a long ways out there.

Without a doubt. I just hope he can put his 300 magnum down for a season to carry the big 7! If not, I might have to sneak out with it one morning...

I do like the 7 STW; and while it will sling 160s quite nicely, that extra 15 grains means that much more mass on target. You're coming along quite well, Bill.

Seems like those big 7's are right at home with those 175's too...

I usually shoot 175s in my 7RM; I have no doubt that the 7STW will deliver those with even more "splat" factor.

My go to powder in the 7STW is Reloader-22.I'm getting just under 3200fps with 77.0grs and the 160 AccuBond. With the 175gr Hornady,I'm shooting 76.0grs at 3040fps.

The 7STW is a pretty fine stick. They seam to sling about anything you stuff in there, right on down the country-side. The 2 Weatherbys I had were plumb nasty on antelope and mulies!

Thanks to Scotty's foresight, and luck, I have a brand new # of both Rl-22 and 25. I will probably stick with the H-1000 for the heavier bullets as I have lots of it. But will try the RL's with the 160's, I think I also have several hundred 140's and 150's in a box somewhere.
