I slipped out this afternoon for a quick range session. Last time out I had to make a small adjustment to my zero so I wanted to shoot my data again at range. Shot this group at 900 yards. First shot I held for 10mph wind from 3 o'clock and missed off the right edge. Adjusted for 8mph wind and shot this 4 shot group. Then moved to a tire rim hanging at 1000 and banged it with 3 rounds. Ready to go lay the hammer on a damage control cow elk tag on Friday! 260 rem shooting 140 VLD Hunting over 44.2 grains of H4350, MV 2867fps. 7.5 MILS for 1000 yards at 3500' elevation, 32 degrees.

Nice! That much accuracy from the VLD, should produce excellent steaks in short order!

Good Shooting!

Now that is dialed right in!! Good luck on your Elk hunt photos & a story would be very nice!!

Blessings,
Dan

Good luck that is awesome accuracy! What kind of rifle and optics are you using? How far off the lands are you running your Bergers?

Thanks guys. I will definitely post a story and pictures if I connect on an elk.
