I’d purchased an RCBS Rapid Acquisition Shooting System (RASS) some time back and used it mostly for plinking at ground squirrels with air rifles.
They are no longer made and hard to find but the other day I stumbled upon one for sale on the local Marketplace and it was available at a good price.
It was in the original box but the box was torn so I wasn’t sure all the parts would be there. I decided to purchase it in case I ever needed spare parts but was pleasantly surprised to find it was complete and in great shape after I got it home.

I set it up temporarily on the porch to use for shooting varmints in the yard.

Actually had a couple for supper a couple of weeks ago. Susan prepared them using one of the MeatEater recipes; was fairly tasty!

Remember seeing the RASS back in the day, thinking it would be fun to have for target practice out in the backwoods. Never actually seen one in a store though.
