Called RCBS yesterday because I broke the decapping pin and bent the threaded rod on my .30 Newton dies. I don't know how old these dies are, but probably older than me. They are packed in a cardboard box wrapped in brown paper. I got them from my Uncle and I don't think he bought them new.
Anyway, I explained all of this to the customer service guy and tried to give him a credit card. The answer: "There's no charge, we'll get a new one right out to you."

I agree!, my experience with RCBS and their customer service has been positive the few times i've had to call them. I bought a used Rockchucker press from a friend and he didn't have the spent primer catcher with it so i called RCBS to order one. I recieved one in the mail a few days later at no charge

Companies that stand behind their product are increasingly rare. Those companies noted for doing so are disproportionately affiliated with the shooting sports, it seems. RCBS is a class act.

.30 Newton - now that's pretty cool.

Kudos to RCBS too - and mirrors my experience with them.

Lucky genetic draw.......it was my Great-Grandfathers. I'm continuing the theme, I bought a .256 as well.

Very cool! I have a set of RCBS 35 Newton dies that haunt me pretty often as well!

Those old Newton's are really cool cartridges. 50-75 years ahead of their time.

I emailed them about buying new cutters for my trim mate station, cause they got dull. They emailed me back for my address and sent me one of each for free! Great customer service in my book.
