I am having a little trouble figuring out how to order the right bushing for the full lenght type S sizer die.
I have been neck sizing but now I need a little bump back.

Measure the OD of the neck of a loaded case, subtract 0.001-0.002" and order those bushings. I like to have 1 and 2 thousants less. Another item in the quest for accuracy.Rick.

You can also use your bushing die with NO bushing at all, turning it into a "Body" die. Run your brass through the bushing die without any bushing and then run it through your neck die.

If he gets the bushing for the FL bushing die he can bump and neck size in one step. He can do so with no expander ball and gain the advantage of the neck sizing with a bushing.Rick.

I am currently using a Hornady neck die.
I have loaded the brass (Nosler) 5 times and now I have more than a slight crush fit.
I like the idea of sizing the neck without an expander ball.

I am also thinking of getting redding's competition seating die. I have been using a Hornady new dimention seating die with great results but a "set" would be nice.

Rick correct about the Forster seating dies, they work great. The problem is that Forster doesn't make any dies for the 280AI. You will have to have them custom made and that could cost you more than the Redding.

Steve, very easy fix. Get a Forster, they do have those, 280 competition seater and have your gunsmith rum the reamer into the sliding sleve. I have done that on several AIs and a few wildcats. If he built the rifle, he normally doesn't charge me to do that.Rick.
