Took three 300wsm to the range for a brief run. 2 model 700 and one model 70.
5 rounds of 64 gr, 5 of 65 and 5 of 66 gr
I only shot one group with the 64 grains and it was with the REM XCR II. The 65 grain loads were just shot for pressure check from all the rifles. 66 wasn't shot. Too cold, windy and darkness set in.

Conditions were windy. Gusts were well over 30MPH with atleast 15 mph constant.

100 yds, scope on 4x, 3 shots of 64 grains Reloader 17 180 grain Ballistic Silver Tip

You're more adventurous that I am, if the wind's like that I won't bother with development loads---never mind the cold. Not bad at all for shooting in miserable conditions!

I tried RL17 in my 300 with high hopes, but it wasn't quite as accurate as RL19. Speed was about the same at around 3040 with 180 ABs.

Great shooting under less than great conditions.

Thanks.
Lately every time I've had the chance to shoot the weather has been rough.

Next will be shooting a group with the other two rifles and if time permits and conditions are good I will shoot the XCRII again and see if that group can tighten up

I'm also going to run Superformance in those three with both 168 gr and 180 BST. Maybe it won't do well with the heavier of the two but we shall see.
