I am thinking of going to RL-22 in all of the calibers i can to try an consolidate my powders. I think 4 powders should be all i need. Imr-4350, Imr-4064, RL-22, and Titegroup for handguns. I really want to try the RL-22 in my 06 and 270 and maybe my 300 Win. The 69.0 grain charge of 4350 and the 180 Partition make such good groups. I am looking for a load that will make a 270-150grain go 2850fps from a 22 inch tube and a 30-06-180grain go 2800 from a 24 inch tube. RL-22 looked to be the best route for both. Any suggestions?

RL22 is a great powder, I use it in my 280 AI and 338 RUM and get under .5 MOA. I also have had great luck with a couple of 300 WM using RL22. Give it a try, you should be pleased with the results.

I have used RL22in the following as a primary powder.
243
6mm
25-06
264
270
30-06
7 mag and 7mm-08----160's at 2700
300 mags
378 wby mag
and many others.

Reloader 22 has done a great job for me in:

6mm Remington
7mm Rem mag
.30-06 (180 grain load)
.300 Win mag

There are a couple of more cartridges that I haven't tried it in yet, but intend to - like my .25-06 and .300 RUM. I think the burn rate will be a little fast for the .300 RUM though.

Good powder that often produces excellent velocity and accuracy in high-performance cartridges.

Regards, Guy
