Been bored this week due to a down turn in the economy. Lol

Any way I have been looking for a log book but have never found one I truly like. So I took bits and pieces from the web and sat down on excel and made a full log book. It has every thing from firearm details, maintenance, round count, load tests, and load log.

What do you guys think? All criticism is welcome.

The more data recorded, the better your memory. The cheapest No. 2 pencil is more accurate than my memory. I commend your effort.

That log book looks to cover all the bases good job!!!

PS. Welcome to the forum, I am sure you are going to enjoy yourself!!

Blessings,
Dan

I started mine in 1994 and it has grown to three volumes now. Makes for some interesting reading on a slow Winter day. If you're anything like me if it doesn't get written down, it isn't remembered.

Mine is on multiple volumes with loads going back to 1986. It's nice to have hard copy as well as digital.

I have my best loads written in pencil on a piece of paper taped to the wall. At one point it was an Excel spreadsheet but writing in the data became easier. 3x5 cards are great for load testing data and chrony readings.

Not meaning to hijack but I've found ammotracker app to be useful and easy to use. It covers pretty much all you need and has a place to put range sessions.
I still have to keep my log book too.

Load development sheet - Brase?
Should that be 'Brass'?

Weapon Info. sheet - Weight

Very comprehensive detail & would help those that should maintain such detail - but don't.
Cheers ET

I use to use the labels that would come in the bullet boxes ro write my info on and paste them in the reloading manuals back covers till I got them filled up and then used a composition note book to write down my favorite loads and the targets I shot.

Thanks for finding those spelling errors. Am going to get those changed. Also going to change from "weapon" to firearm information.

Sooo did you make any extras to sell?

I have these saved in excel and just print the sheets I need on 5X8 card stock and hole punch.
