There is a very nice used Remington left hand CDL in .223 on the rack at Kittery Trading Post in Kittery Maine... I gave it a good look over and walked away due to other priorities (retrofitting my Zeiss scope with RapidZ reticle). I do not remember the scope that was on it but it had a serrated trigger which I think may be a Timney.. May have to revisit after taking care of my scope expenses..

Hope you were able to grab it those LH 223's aren't too common. Like those CDL's too ;) It looks like the left hand CDL has been discontinued in all calibers unfortunately :(

Gerry, I happen to know somebody who got a left-hand 700 CDL recently...

That little CDL in 223 would be one fun little rifle. Any idea what the factory twist is on them?

...that would be an excellent tool for sharpening your long range shooting skills, Rol...

I checked the Kittery Trading Post web site this morning and it was not listed.. Guess that I missed the boat... I will have to use my TC Contender in .223 to practice for now...

Too bad, they are a very nice gun. I thought hard about getting a LH CDL 223 but didn't, they do come up once in a while so you may find another one.

Met a fellow who shoots a fast twist, bolt action .223 at 1,000 yards... And is competitive!

I thought the .223 was incapable of making it further than 200 Yards? You mean to tell me I been lied to all these years?

Shucks, next thing you know they'll be saying it can kill a deer. What ever will I do with this .753 I bought for ground squirrels? [emoji2]

If you can shoot a .753 for ground squirrels.... You are man enough to do anything you want with it!

Just because I bought it don't mean I'm brave enough to shoot it. I leave that onerous task to the spousal unit. [emoji2]

She asked me if it kicks. I told her the truth, "No."
I just failed to mention that the reason it don't kick is because I don't shoot it.
She gets out of the hospital tomorrow. My funeral is Saturday.
