The new Timney 870 shotgun trigger spring kit worked great! The old 760 now has a crisp 2lb trigger. It isn't a "glass rod" break, but it's pretty darn close. No creep or overtravel. I'd say it equals the Chip Mcormick 2lb trigger I had in my AR. I'm very pleased, I'd say this is money well spent for any Remington pump rifle.

Cool beans! 8)
Does this trigger also fit the 11-87 and 742/750 rifles?

I don't know, but my gunsmith said it should fit the 1100 shotgun also. I emailed Timney on a saturday evening to see if it would fit the 760, and they replied within a couple hours. I was impressed by that. I'm sure if you e-mail them they'll let you know.

Worked great back in the days when I was running my Rem 7600 in 35 whelen!

Man, what an improvement a 2lb pull must be on those rifles. They are usually pretty accurate with the trigger being the weak link. Wonder if anybody makes anything for the Browning BLR? Scotty

If they made proper triggers for them, they would have a hard time staying out of my safe. Mine shoots well, but you really have to be on your game while shooting from the bench to get excellent accuracy. I hear they tend to get better with more shots, but they are still mighty heavy the way they come. Scotty

There are a few people who can work magic on the BLR triggers. I just haven't met them.

Thanks buddy.

No problem.

I worked up loads at the bench today, Wow the trigger helps. I might be looking for another one of these in a 243 or 6mm now, kinda a poor man's AR-10 for coyotes.
