I just ordered one in 300 RUM. What is accuracy like in these guns? Any experiences out there?

Pop,

My buddy has this rifle in 300 RUM with the factory brake and a Leupold VX III 4.5x14LR with the 30mm tube.
I only shot it once but if I remember correctly, a 3 shot group was about 1 inch with Remington factory 180 gr PT loads. Most of my buddys groups were a little over an inch but he doesn't do much shooting. I feel that this rifle with proper handloads will shoot well under 1 inch.

The AWR is a nice looking rifle and its lighter weight make handeling a breeze, even with the 26" tube.
The only problem he had was when he finally received his rifle, the factory forgot to teflon coat it. Once he got back from Alaska, he sent it back and the Custom Shop added the Teflon coat.

Let me know if you need any additional G2.
