Rifle Builders - attention!

That would be a great start for a build. I just built my 358 Norma Mag on such an action.

HR that is a great price & only 35 minutes away. Take a chance & go an look at them !!

Blessings,
Dan

What I can do is take this stock Mauser custom Mark X and change out the action for the Dumoulin and rebarrel the action to 7x57 and have a new recoil pad installed which I have. No inletting changes same barrel contour and I have a fully custom, classic Mauser Rifle in a caliber that I can use, either 7x57 or 6mm Remington.
Gun of right.
Firing on all 8 cylinders tonight!

Charlie those are two very good looking rifles and from what you have mentioned in the past they are both nail drivers as well.
Thank you for the photos.

Dan

The only problems with that action is it takes Sunny Hill rings that will run you about $225-250 a pair.

What about using a Piccatinney rail across the flats. It says they are level. You could take an non-milled one and have it drilled for what ever hole spacing the action has. I'm not sure I'd like a rail on an action that pretty though. I'd like to put a high polish blue on a sporter barrel and put it in a pretty piece of walnut.....maybe in 7x57 or 257Roberts. That would be pretty.

You could do that and some guys are, there are several discussions about this action on many other forums. Seems that action quality is hit or miss as many are rough and will take some finishing. Overall most who buy them are satisfied even if they get a rough action. Here is a link to a good discussion on these actions:
