Rl23 in the 280AI

anyone tried this new rl23 in the 280AI? I just grabbed a pound and was wondering if anyone had tried it and how it worked? Any good loads?

Haven't tried it; can't even find it. It looks as if it would work well, however.

Ya Im thinkin it might be a good one to try. thanks for the ql's! Now if I knew how to find the nodes from a ql that would be good.

If the burn rate is the same as QL (and it probably isnt)
On the first one around 60 gr then around 64
Second one around 59.5
Third one also somewhere around 59.5
Start below those and work into it

I played with RL-23 in my 280 AI with the 150 ABLR and the 168 ABLR. Didn't get anything worth getting excited about. I have had two different loads with RL-26 and the 168 ABLR go under half inch.

FYI, and on this subject (Basically, the .280AI), I see the current edition of Rifle Magazine (#281, July 2015) has an article on this chambering, in the Kimber 84L!
