Thanks brother. I tell you one thing this elk season I don't know what I'm taking for my main gun but during the day where they're bedded down in the brush, this is the one I'm taking. The thing weighs like 5 lb and I figure 1400 ft per second with a 300 grain xtp should deflate one easily
 
Ya buddy, a tough 300 gr Jacketed bullet at 1400+ fps is no joke...

Excellent load development and shooting. And that big bullet should make two holes in an elk giving you a decent blood trail with that speed and energy. A big stick in a small package.
