I am not sure, but it has been in the family for thirty years, and always been a great scope. :)

Cool rifle. That looks like a sweet whitetail rig. Especially with some 125gr Nosler BT's or Sierra Spitzers. Would be a cool little zinger! Scotty

Great rifle I have 340 C my youngest son loves it and since he loves being in the bush he never uses anything else.
That little 30-30 does the job.

Blessings,
Dan :)

Suggest the new Hornady load with the 160gr Hornady Evoultion with the plastic tip........should be graet in your 340.

That is the same rifle and caliber my dad shot his first deer with. He was carrying a 6.5 swedish mauser carbine but he and my uncle and grandpa set their guns against a tree and were eating a sandwich around mid day and a buck came by. My dad picked up the first gun he could get his hands on which happened to be my uncle's savaged and commenced to letting the lead fly. He told me that it was full of holes from head to toe but he was so excited and he was determined to kill his first buck! I think he told me that there wasn't a whole lot of meat left untouched.
