The little fellow on the far right is my neighbor and friend, Monte. He's about 6-05 or so, and shoots for Team Savage. I quit giving him grief about his factory built Savage competition rifles years ago when he started shooting in matches all over the world, and doing really well with the Savage F-Class rifles:

Well, I still give him grief now and again. After all, I have beat him a few times in competition - but that was long ago before he figured out the whole wind-reading thing better than me!

Savage has done a pretty impressive job with these match rifles that can be purchased at what really are excellent prices, right off the dealer's rifle rack...

I tell you Guy. I wish I can get some trigger time behind an F class 6.5x284. Them sticks shoot!

They definitely are a great team. There is no question but that Savage arms are extremely accurate. Congratulations to your neighbour and to the team.

Signs of success displayed in abundance. Savages are just hard to beat at the price and even at a lot higher price. Is your friend a hunter too?

That's the exact same rifle I Will be shooting at the state match tomorrow. but with a 3.5_18 valdada on it. borrowed rifle so I didn't want to mess with his setup. should be interesting. and as far as savage rifles go I don't think your going do much better with anything out of a box.
