Are there any good electronic scales in the 50-70 dollar price range? I'm considering a new scale. Haven't decided as yet on a beam scale or electronic.

in that price range I'd recommend a beam scale . I think the electronic scales at this price point would be headaches .

I will start off by stating that I still use a beam scale. When I get a get an electronic scale it will operate on 110 voltage!

I have only used a RCBS beam scale since I started reloading 40 years ago, Yeah some say I should step into the 21st century but the old technology still is more consistent for me. The only use I would have for an electronic would be to weigh cast bullets or empty casings for ho2 capacity. I also have a Dillon beam scale and a Reading beam scale new in the box which came in package deals.

I have a Hornady digital scale which I often can not correlate with my Lyman 505 beam scale. The digital drifts more than .1 grains over time. I went back to the Lyman.

I have a RCBS 505 beam that I have used for years as a backup. I use the DPS 3 electronic and it is 100% accurate. You are going to be looking at $400.00 + for a decent power scale. Love mine.

In my cabelas memorial day sale flyer they have the RCBS chargemaster combo on sale for $269.99...that is an awesome buy after a $10.00 rebate. I have been using mine since 2007 and it has been error free. Lee

Check out the Gempro 250. It more expensive but in my opinion the best value for your dollar. Also, the reviews are really good.

The Hornady 1500 model is accurate and simple. What more can you get. I think it was $39 from Amazon.com.

I have no interest in weighing diamonds to the 1/10th carat. Powder, +/- 1/10 grain is all I need. I have one of the Hornady 1500 scales and the drift drives me crazy?

From the guys who have been using these to compare powder charges against their high buck models on 6BR website, these are supposed to be unbelievable for the money:

Man, you guys don't just fill em to the top, clean off the extra and seat a bullet???
I does!
They call me one eyed stubby at the range. :)
