I have a cheap Franklin Arsenal digital scale that I bought for $30 and it has far exceeded my expectations. I use it to cross check my Lyman Gen 5 auto dispenser/scale and cross check both with my RCBS balance scale and it has been unbelievably accurate and consistent. Would I use it alone as a primary scale? I might if I had a good check weight but it is probably better as a backup/check to other scales.

Dude over my way uses those and I think he is crazy for doing it.....

Are there any good electronic scales in the 50-70 dollar price range? I'm considering a new scale. Haven't decided as yet on a beam scale or electronic.

Go to local head shop, smoke shop, dope pit.
Dopers have accurate scales.
