Not sure how many on here are close in Iowa or not.

Scheels has thousands of primers in stock and a LOT of powder. I picked up 2 pounds of IMR4064 and 2 pounds of IMR 4350 for 24.99 a pound.

I was passing by there on my way to a meeting. Glad I brought some dough with me.

Good to hear. I hunted two weeks ago with a couple guys who said that store had been pretty picked over; hopefully this is a sign the distributors are still shipping somewhat regularly.

The Scheels in Des Moines didn't have much of anything for primers, and I haven't checked there on powder as Sportsman's Warehouse usually beats them by a couple bucks. And I'm pretty well stocked anyway... :)

Not sure if it matters or not, but the President of Scheels is a hard core pro-2A type and a pretty damn nice guy to boot. If there was one closer to me, I'd be doing business with them

I'm a huge fan of Scheels. They have always been NICE stores and their workers seem very helpful.

I go to Scheels as well when in the neighborhood of 40+ miles away. However slightly higher priced than the more local family shop of 20 miles, the are better priced than your other corporate outfits.

Also since the last major shortage, I found them what also seems to be a good barometer of currrent supply issue's. It very well could be that the heavy run shortages of the very recent, have subsided.

Never been to one. One of these days I will have to hit Montana after this craze is over.

Funny, went to the Scheels in Reno. Only primers they had were 209 and they had only about 6 different powders.
