Wondering who shoots imr 8208 in a 223 rem? How’s it compare to Benchmark.?

He has done a lot of work. I do use IMR 8208 in my 6.5 Grendel. It is a GREAT powder but you need to watch it toward the top end because it can spike pressures. It is a stick powder and is very stable temperature wise.

I believe I found my node at 25.5 gr behind a 55 gr Blitzking in my Tikka .223. The 50 gr node was 26.4 gr of benchmark.tyson22250":2fhsrj5f said:Hunt12758 thanks for the info. What is your max like 26 gr with the 55gr blitzking? I have a couple 22/250’s I’d like to try it in as well.
