I have a good buddy at work and I kind of adopted his 16 year old daughter when it comes to guns/hunting. We started her off with a 22 LR and she was hooked! I then found her a Savage axis in 6.5 Creed and I worked up a reduced load with the 123 bullet and TAC.
I then let her pick the colors and I painted her stock for her. She is in love!
She has been shooting the rifle very well but the Chinese weaver scope will not track or hold zero anymore at all and I think the innyards are toast.
So basically I am asking if someone has a decent but relatively inexpensive scope that they can part with I would be delighted to purchase it and surprise her with it.
Thinking a 3-9 or 4-12 etc. in a Burris BP or Nikon or something like that. 25 September is her antelope season (first time ever for her) and I want her to be successful.
Thank you in advance!
