Scope rings???

I have seen some scope rings that mount vertically with the screws at the top and bottom of the scope.
Is there any pros and cons on these over the conventional rings that attach horizontally?

I prefer conventional rings, but that is just my opinion. For the past few years I've been using TPS Products HRT rings, with excellent results.

I use both styles. I have the Talley vertically split rings on 2 Weatherby MKV rifles and the have been excellent. Also use weaver rings and weaver style as well as the Leupold style. No complaints with any of them
