...you should maybe rethink this one, Scotty, won't be long now & you won't be able to remember which one's which, & you won't be able to read the stamp on the barrel w/o a big flashlite & a pr. of "cheaters", probably not a "bad idea" to have sumpthin a little "different"... :mrgreen:

I know. I know.. It is hard for me to change right now Gene! I figure if I keep different scopes on them, I will be able to keep them separated as the old age sets in.

Hopefully I am a little away from having to wear cheaters. I am losing my hair at the rapid rate, so maybe the eyesight will hold off till the hairs gone!

That one inch shorter barrel has always left me a little confused. However, given the choice between a Browning and a Winchester (despite being owned by the same people), the CRF has always won.
