SEATING DEPTH FOR 7 WBY AND 160 FAIL SAFE

Does anyone have a good seating depth for a 160 Fail Safe loaded into a Remington 700 Classis? I know there's a couple of you on here who owns them in this caliber. I did a search on this last night but couldn't find anything.

If your rifle has the freebore as the standard WBY, I usually start with the base of the bullet at the neck shoulder junction. If you can reach the lands with the bullet better cut back on the charges or pressure will be a problem.Rick.

You should have enough freebore in that caliber that you can not touch the lands, so I would worry more about making sure I did not seat them so far out that they will not fit in the magazine. I sold my 7 WBY Mag and have some factory ammo left for it at a deal if you need ammo and some brass. :wink:
