Shepards Scopes

Read up on Shepards Scopes from there web site - i am very impressed IF ? they work as well as they advertise ! Also quality wise- will they take the great outdoors -rain -snow-fog-cold etc ! All manufactures try too sell you the world but who has first hand knowledge -usage of a Shepard scope in the field under not just sunny day conditions but real world hunting conditions ? Are they any good ? Whats everyones opinion ? :?: Cheers Jim

I don't know much about them but as I recall, they are a low end scope.

IMHP, spend the money on a Leupold and don't look back. If you ever do have a problem, Leupold will take are of it or replace the scope. That kind of piece of mind goes a long ways in my book.

I have heard great things about them, never used one though. I would think for what they cost they would be nice glass, but again, I 0 experience with them. They were the rage before rangefinders, but I think they have kinda slipped since Laser Range Finders came on the market for cheap..
