.375-.358STA, .375RUM,

What is the ballistic diff between these two?

Honestly not a lot Fotis. I use to shoot 250 Sierra BT's at 3080fps in my .375-.358STA. My .375RUM shot 260AB's right at 3100fps and 270 Hornady's 3000 to 3050fps. With heavy bullets I'd bet there is 100-125fps max.

I have been lurking a little in regarding the .375RUM. It is as close one can get to a .378weatherby with very affordable components. It doesn't need a true magnumlength action, and almost any Mauser of standard length can house it. I am very happy for my .378wea Magnum and would probably never sell it, but should I recommend somebody "max-bang-for-the-buck", the .375RUM would be a cartridge I would strongly ask people to take an assessment of.
