Got to the bench to shoot the 257 Roberts Remington Classic.
The target is a couple different loads my Dad put together. He passed away in 1994 so these are at least 23 years old.
The first three were shots 4-6 after cleaning this rifle and a warm barrel. 100 grain Nosler Solid Base

The 2nd group were some 90 grain Sierra HPBT.
Glad to see the old rifle will still go under an inch on occasion.

Shooting these off of a Caldwell Fire Control Full Length Rest.
The verdict is still out on that as I'm still experimenting with it.

Shooting these stirred up some good memories of time at the bench with my father.

Memories can ensure that life is rich and complete. Glad to see that you got out with the family rifle and some of the ammunition your dad built.

That's neat! The .257 Roberts is a classic all by itself and then becomes something special with the meaning behind it in this particular rifle! Thanks for sharing.
