On a less than perfect day with 10-15mph winds gusting to 30mph I put three shots measuring 1.0" at 200 yards. I had to wait for the wind blown snow to clear to see my target between shots. I shot a total of ten rounds to get that group zeroed at 200 yards and left it at 1.5" to the left. The winds was at 90 degrees from the right so good enough to a calm day.
My first two shots wear at 100 yards, both cut the horizontal center line at 1.5" & 1.3" to the left. I wonder if on I calm day these first two shots would have be in the center 1" square?
Rem SPS SS 223rem, VX3 4.5-14x40mmLR, Talley fixed rings, B&C Medalist stock green with black webbing. I bought cheap ammo HSM 50gr BK.
I realy hope I do better on a calm day my groups strung out horizontaly and I "think" 1/2 MOA is great and hope for better to come.
Started picking up my compants Lapua Brass/CCIBR4/Benchmark. The local store had the CCI's for $40/1000 so not bad for todays prices.
