Should I?

Fotis,

That is an investment. Hold on to that one. If you do in a year or two it will double or triple. That is a sweet rifle. Your doomed now just buy it that's the easy thing to do!

Fotis,

NO, Don't do it.
You will end up buying a bunch of #1's all over again.
That is a beautiful rifle!

Fotis you know that you should block out this temptation :( Oh what the heck go for it and make yourself happy
PS. I am trying to help 8)
Blessings,
Dan

That is assuredly a handsome stock on the rifle. It is attractive; and the opening bid indicates a fair price.

Fotis,

Both are beautiful rifles. Love the wood on that 6mm Rem.

Maybe it's me but I would build a couple rifles the way you want them and sell off most of the others. Maybe your just addicted to buying and selling guns.

My problem is I just keep building rifles. I was just talking with my dad about building him a rifle for elk hunting. I sold his barrel I gave him 10 years ago today. It was a pretty light #3 contour and I was trying to talk him into something a bit heavier to build a rifle geared a bit more towards long range for our elk tag we drew. He keeps telling me I'll just use one of yours. I told him I had about 12 custom barrels, on order or in the safe, and I started rattling them off. Well it turns out I have 15, I bought 3 this week and have 3 on order. I have a buddy that is building a .50-.460 Weatherby and wants me to build one too. So I might have to order another. He's thinking it might be the ultimate bear gun, as if his .470 Capstick isn't enough. He likes the idea of shooting 300gr bullets 3400fps. I have to admit it does sound pretty cool.

Might as well get that 25-06, I need someone to do some load work!

I was sure you did. What do you have on RL22-RL25.. Those are the two I am looking at for the 110-120's I plan on shooting..

I didn't think you would go without a 25-06 for this long. For awhile, it was a staple in your safe..

Actually this is the longest I had ever been without one, about 7 months now.

56 gr RL 22
58 gr RL 25
59 gr Retumbo. All with 110 Accubonds.

from 3150 to 3350 pending on load and barrel.

I am actually getting fairly excited about the 25-06.. I hope the experience will be better than my last. I still have a ton of cases, 115 PT's and I picked up some 115 BT's from SPS. Should have enough to get a good start..

What are you getting? (like I have to ask!)

Oh, dear, you don't suppose Scotty will be buying a Remington, do you?
